The site, which started on August 26, 1996, has steadily increased in readership from 100 a day in August 1996 to around 500,000-650,000 page views a day now [May 2008] and above 70,000-90,000 unique visitors a day. Many readers come to the site a few times a day, some daily, some once a week.
The Sprint Cup site is run one one person, Jayski, and has been updated EVERY day at least once a day, since January 5th, 1998. Scott Page deals with my Nationwide Series site and stands in on the Cup site so no important info or announcements are missed if Jayski has someplace to go. Nancy Osterhoudt handles my Truck Series site and some other pages. Mark Garrow is the Business Mgr and handles advertsing along with interfacing with ESPN, who now owns the site.
Jayski has been featured in a few media outlets:

EMAIL and NOTES
WHY all these notes before my email address: my email is NOT hard to find, but in effort to save time and spend more time working on the site then answering the same emails over and over, I posted this a few years ago. Such as "any news on what driver X is doing?"......or "does driver X have a ride", if I know of it...IT IS POSTED...clear, plain and simple. I will simply reply...."no idea".
ANY and ALL question concerning donations of equipment or software to Victory Junction Gang Camp and the Jayski Computer Lab should be directed to the folks at victoryjunction.org, thanks.
NOTE: Have a problem with NASCAR and the teams referring to past Champs as Sprint Cup Champions?
Take it up with the team or NASCAR, NOT me,
I will post it either way as the PR or column has it, doesn't matter to me, a champion is still a champion;
NASCAR did not kick Winston out; THEY chose to leave.....Winston was honored quite a bit in 2003, so move on
andd if folks remember, Richard Petty was considered the 7-time 'Winston' Cup Champ
he only won 5 under the Winston banner, drivers before 1971 were called Winston Cup Champs....
or if you see news, links, images [no guarantee's I will post them - schemes only] other stuff not posted on Jayski
not interested in comments or complaints about the sport
take that up with NASCAR - see my Racing FAQ for their contact info....thanks OR for local Mooresville/Charlotte [NC] ads [no tracking],
please see my FAQ Page first to see how I work things email Jayski, at:
AND a saying from one of my favorite Presidents [as seen on the ARCA Site]
""If I were to try to read, much less answer, all the attacks made on me, this shop might as well be closed for any other business. I do the very best I know how - the very best I can; and I mean to keep doing so until the end. If the end brings me out all right, what's said against me won't amount to anything. If the end brings me out wrong, ten angels swearing I was right would make no difference." A. Lincoln
ONE MAN SHOW: just a tad of info about me, Jayski. I run, code, update, add images and design the Cup site MYSELF. There no office, staff, people [peeps], reporters, stats folks - I do all the work on the Sprint Cup site myself and still 100% own and control the site. Scott handles the majority of my Busch site and Nancy handles Truck site and others page. ESPN.com [started in 2005] handles my advertising and houses my site on their server and now ownes the site, but I have control over content and still own Jayski LLC. I do have a business manager, Mark Garrow [PRN broadcaster] who handles advertising and business deals so I can concentrate on the site content, and advertising content sent to me, will be forwarded to Mark. More about me on my about JAYSKI page and THANK YOU for reading and supporting the site!
NO NASCAR.com LINKs, IMAGE or NEWS, I check there often.
IF SENDING IMAGES [paint schemes only please] need to know what site they came from, if you took them, how do you want credit. If they came from a site, I can't post them without credit and the person sneding them does NOT get credit, the site does. No NASCAR.com, AP or ThatsRacin.com images will be posted.
SPAM Protrectors: some interproviders such as AOL or Earthlink have spam protectors, where for YOU to get a reply from me, I need to fill out a form and get an OK to send you email, I will NOT do this if the email bounces back, so you will not get an answer to a question if the email bounces back...thanks.
Please send NOTHING from ThatsRacin, I have been TOLD not to use or link certain columns by one of their writers but still link other writers and always will link David Poole.
when sending info on an article, news or column you found, include the LINK, not the whole story, without a link, I just delete it.
NO TEAM/DRIVER SPONSORSHIP..... I get many requests from teams/drivers [not Cup] from all over the country asking me to sponsor their car, sorry, it is not something I wish to do and not something I can afford and not fair to choose one over the other. I have had teams place decals [I don't have any] on their cars, such as Rich Woodland in ARCA, he is a persoanl friend. I sponsored the Bandalero of Jason Haynes in 2005 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Jason's Mom, Dad and crew chief Kurt, maintained and helped my Bandalero in my ill-fated 2004 try at racing and this is my way of repaying their kindness and efforts. I also cover sponsorship on my FAQ - click here. I also do not sponsor SIM cars, Radio Control or any other sponsorhips, thanks anyway for the interest
AT&T TEXT MESSAGE ALERTS..... If you wish NOT to get the Jayski Alerts on your AT&T Phone, do NOT email me, I have not stolen or spammed your cell phone number, you need to contact AT&T to get of the list and get credited. How did you get signed up without doing it yourself? my the contests and trivia you see on TV, when you text that, AT&T has a list you go on and you will get the once a-week FREE alert. On any Jayski message alert, just reply END to any mesasge to unsubscribe.
MORE AT&T ALERTS STUFF: Jayski/AT&T Wireless Alerts of the latest rumors, news and qual/race recap 5-6 times a week....if you have an AT&T phone and are interested, check out www.wireless.att.com to sign up [standard msg charges apply].....if you already get the alerts....am curious what you think...go below my email address and email the advertising email link there and let me know if you like the alerts, how to make them better and any other feedback..... to sign up for Jayski AT&T Alerts [2-3 news items during the week and 3 race updates during the Cup race] at www.wireless.att.com, must have AT&T cell phone. COMPLAINTS about ESPN.com or TV coverage on ESPN can be directed to them at ESPN - contact info, I have no inside info on the TV coverage, how it works and do not run the ESPN.com NASCAR site, so complaints and Kudos to them please.
ADVERTSING EMAIL BELOW JAYSKI's

putting the info in place of the one shown as an example::

http://www.racingstories.org/story/nascar.html (direct link)
I love NASCAR (article title)
by Joe Fan (author name, first and last)
Article titles in ALL CAPS/UPPERCASE will not be linked.
Five articles a day limit to fans site, if more are sent, I will choose what to kill off
