Entry, Practice, Qualifying and Race Information

Hornaday wins at Texas: With a green-white-checkered finish, the master-of-the-restart, #33-Ron Hornaday Jr. held on to the lead to win the Sam's Town 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. It was Hornaday's 35th series win, his first win at Texas and his second win in 2008. Hornaday set a new track record for the most laps led by the winner leading 140 laps, previous record was held by Greg Biffle with 119 laps. The win put Hornaday back on top in the driver point standings. Rounding out the top ten were #51-Kyle Busch, #23-Johnny Benson, #2-Jack Sprague, #30-Todd Bodine, #8-Chad McCumbee, #88-Matt Crafton, #09-Bobby East, #5-Mike Skinner, #21-Jon Wood.
